Copper panels and stainless steel railings will accentuate the post-modern design. Each unit will boast a two-car, direct-access garage, an unusual find in a townhome community. Demolition of two existing office buildings on the site was completed in mid-December and excavation of the site is expected to be complete by late January. Above-grade construction will begin in late April. According to Legacy project manager Juanita Warner, completion is anticipated in November. Legacy Building Services constructs multi-family, industrial, and commercial projects. Construction is nearing completion on the firm's transit-oriented Morena Vista redevelopment project, being built for the Metropolitan Transit District Board, the city of San Diego's Redevelopment Agency and CityLink Investment Corp. A member of the Associated General Contractors and the Design/Build Institute of America, Legacy Building Services also provides construction management and design/build services to property owners and developers.
