Description

The mixed-use transit oriented development (TOD) project includes a four-story, 163 unit apartment building over partially below grade parking. With a courtyard pool and spa, theatre, exercise room, game room and meeting facilities, residents have access to a variety of amenities. Down the hill from USD, the property caters to university students.

Included in the scope was an additional retail/loft phase which includes a 22 unit, two-story residential loft building over street-level retail spaces for tenants including Starbucks, Subway, Jamba Juice, FedX and San Diego County Credit Union. These retail amenities have created a destination retail center for the project in which a trolley stop services.

As an additional part of this project, Legacy constructed off-site parking for the Linda Vista Trolley Station in San Diego. This 188-space remote surface parking lot was constructed to relocate the existing 180-space lot. This phase also included a trolley station canopy and approximately 614 spaces of associated parking.

The site is owned by the City of San Diego and was developed in agreement with the Metropolitan Transit Development Board (MTDB) and Morena Vista, LLC.
